About the new permission "SuperUser": This permission is requested to enhance the functionality of Total Commander on rooted devices. It communicates with the SuperUser app to indicate that Total Commander supports root functions. It is important to note that this permission has no effect if your device is not rooted. Root functions enable Total Commander to write to system folders such as /system or /data. Rest assured, you will always be notified and warned before any write operations are performed if the partition is write-protected.
